PVD copper plating process

Supermag’s PVD copper-plated HTS tape has eliminated the "dog-bone" phenomenon at the edges, achieving an asymmetric (single-sided) copper plating solution. Moreover, various electroplating materials are available for selection, including metals, alloys, and oxides.

Laser cutting

The cross-section of the slit tapes has no burrs or cracks, achieving a very limited and controllable small overheating area, as well as a sharp cross-section and perfect geometric shape.

Lamination process

Maintain excellent uniformity in the thickness of the tapes, with no solder overflow at the edges. A variety of lamination materials such as stainless steel, red copper, and copper are available for selection.
